Tulsa, Okla. Arvest Bank President Honored With Award

We’re pleased to announce Donald Walker, President and Chief Executive Officer of Arvest Bank in Tulsa, has been honored by the Tulsa Community College Foundation for his contributions to the Tulsa community.

Walker was honored at the 2013 Vision in Education Leadership Award Dinner on Sept. 10. The Vision Award recognizes education excellence and community leadership, and is presented to an individual each year. With a quiet and selfless leadership style, Walker has been effective in promoting education and supporting the community.

Walker is a highly involved leader in his community and acted as chairman of the Indian Nations Council – Boy Scouts of America, Tulsa Regional Chamber of Commerce, Oklahoma Business Roundtable and River Parks Authority. He also served as co-chair for the 2007 Oklahoma Centennial Celebration.

Additionally, he has assisted on the boards of Tulsa Regional Chamber of Commerce, Morningcrest Charitable Foundation, Land Legacy – Oklahoma Land Trust, Oklahoma Business Roundtable Board, Indian Nations Council – Boy Scouts of America, River Parks Authority and the Tulsa Community College Foundation.
